During the initial kickoff, together with negotiation psychologists at TUM, the Boldheart team started by breaking down the complex logic and constraints of the negotiation platform to rapidly identify key requirements, possible challenges, and mitigation strategies. Our team then translated the behavioral and psychometric assessments into code requirements and developed a detailed sprint plan that would follow an agile and user-centric approach. Subsequently, the Boldheart team designed an easy-to-use user interface (UI) that would enable students to focus on developing their skills. In various test rounds with the target group, the team refined the UI to ensure maximum usability and experience, before moving into the front-end development stage. In parallel with the UI/UX design phase, the backend team at Boldheart started an agile development process of the complex negotiation algorithm to ensure maximum speed. By keeping in close touch with the behavioral psychologists throughout the development, Boldheart ensured that the training platform would work as intended. With the help of automated and manual tests and documentation, Boldheart further ensured a high-quality code basis and a smooth handover.
